-Life is never what you expect.

-Closure is something to wish for, but not always a given.

-You can run, you can hide, but the depression has got your number.

-Waterproof mascara is the best fashion bet when you wear your heart on your sleeve.

-Never trust your heart completely to one person, unless they are bound to you by more than friendship. They will handle it poorly and send it back in shambles.

-Food and friendship comforts, but does not heal the deep wounds.

-All that shit about getting right back on the horse: if the fall has broken both your legs and paralyzed you, you can't get back on the damn animal.

-Birthdays are just another thing that reminds me of you.
